Come Friday, the top '09s, '10s and '11s in the New England District (comprised of every New England state except for Massachusetts, which is deemed its own district by USA Hockey) will hit the ice to fight for spots at USA Hockey Select Camps.
The '10s will compete to make USA Hockey's Select 16 Camp, which will be held June 25-July 1 in Amherst, N.Y. They are at an especially interesting age.
Colleges have been watching them, as some will become eligible to receive offers come Aug. 1. But the big storyline among these '10s is the USHL and QMJHL Drafts.
Both leagues will be watching this event closely, getting the final viewings of the '10s before the drafts.
The USHL Phase 1 Draft will be held on May 4, while Phase 2 is the following day. The QMJHL Draft will be held June 5-6.
These are some '10s to keep an eye on at camp this weekend. By no means are these the only '10s to watch, but these '10s have already made themselves prominent names.

Matt Coccaro
Mid Fairfield 15O, 4/26/2010, F, right shot, 5-8/148
Hometown: Fairfield, Conn.Â
Coccaro is a smooth-skating, puck-moving defenseman who is vital in starting breakouts and creating offense from the point. He's been a longtime standout for Mid Fairfield and was at Select 15 Camp last summer.

Cam Daigle
St. George’s, 2/5/2010, F, right shot, 5-6/146
Hometown: East Greenwich, R.I.Â
Daigle was one of the best '10s in prep this winter with 13 goals and 33 points in 25 games. His excellent skating and skill make defending him so challenging. Despite his size, Daigle is strong and hard for defenders to knock off pucks. He had four goals at Select 15 Camp last summer.
Jake Donatelli
St. George’s, 1/4/2010, D, left shot, 5-7/156
Hometown: Barrington, R.I.Â
This winter, Donatelli broke out with 21 points in 26 games as a puck-moving force. The elusive defenseman is an expert at breaking pucks out and uses his feet to get to space and open passing lanes all over the ice. He had one assist at Select 15 Camp last summer.
Chris Faitsch
Mid Fairfield 15O, 6/19/2010, G, catches left, 5-10/165
Hometown: East Lyme, Conn.Â
Faitsch made Select 15 Camp last season and had a 5.56 GAA and a .843 save percentage in parts of four games. He's been a longtime standout for Mid Fairfield.
Owen Hannah
Deerfield, 11/29/2010, F, left shot, 5-9/146
Hometown: Newington, Conn.Â
Playing with and against lots of '07s and '08s, Hannah found a spot with Deerfield and tallied four goals and six points in 26 games this winter. He had one assist in four games at Select 15 Camp last summer. He's shifty and can get into high-danger ice.

Brayden Hekle
Shattuck-St. Mary's 15O, 6/8/2010, F, right shot, 6-0/161
Hometown: Wilton, Conn.Â
After being a longtime standout for Mid Fairfield, where he notched 81 points as a 14U last winter, he moved to Shattuck for this season, where he scored 15 times and posted 41 points in 52 games. He lit up the scoresheet last summer, scoring three times and adding three assists in four games at Select 15 Camp.
Senji Kimura
Phillips Andover, 3/16/2010, G, catches left, 6-1/165
Hometown: Brattleboro, Vt.Â
While Kimura hardly played for Andover this winter, he was a standout with the Neponset Valley River Rats in the fall and posted a 3.37 goals-against average and a .891 save percentage in four games at Select 15 Camp last summer. He's a highly-regarded goalie who should become a bigger name next season.
Jackson Luedke
Mid Fairfield 15O, 7/2/2010, F, left shot, 6-0/165
Hometown: Ridgefield, Conn.Â
Luedke attended Select 15 Camp last summer, scoring two goals and posting four points in the four games. A standout for Mid Fairfield this season, Luedke has the frame and physicality of a power forward. His offensive upside makes him such an intriguing prospect.
Andrew Martineau
Canterbury/Woodbridge Wolfpack 15O, 4/26/2010, F, left shot, 5-7/152
Hometown: Ellington, Conn.Â
Martineau had a strong showing at the Select 15 Camp last summer, scoring two goals and recording four points in four games. He was strong with Woodbridge in the fall before becoming a legit contributor on an older Canterbury team with three goals and 13 points in 23 games.
Leo McCullough
North Jersey Avalanche/Don Bosco, 8/25/2010, F, left shot, 5-8/165
Hometown: Norwalk, Conn.Â
McCullough split time with the North Jersey Avalanche and Don Bosco Prep. He scored one goal in four games at Select 15s last summer.

Landon Roe
Belmont Hill, 1/17/2010, F, right shot, 5-9/161
Hometown: Darien, Conn.Â
Roe is a feisty, speedy winger who made his mark with Belmont Hill this winter, posting 11 points in 28 games. He's been a standout for the Minuteman Flames and was at Select 15 Camp last summer.
Chris Sawyer
Atlantic Coast Academy 16U/Minuteman Flames, 6/17/2010, F, left shot, 5-11/170
Hometown: Pelham, N.H.Â
Sawyer is a lethal offensive weapon who was dominant for the Minuteman Flames 14U squad and Hillside School in 2024-25. He followed that up with three assists in four games at Select 15 Camp. This season, Sawyer was a standout for the Flames' 15O team and notched 14 goals and 43 points for Atlantic Coast Academy's 16U squad.
Kai Scranton
Mid Fairfield 15O, 5/3/2010, F, left shot, 5-9/137
Hometown: West Hartford, Conn.Â
Scranton can fly. The elusive forward is known for his speed and offensive creativity. Once again, he was a standout for Mid Fairfield this winter and had two goals and four points at Select 15 Camp last summer.
Joey St. Laurent
North Jersey Avalanche, 11/4/2010, F, right shot, 5-10/154
Hometown: Greenland, N.H.Â
St. Laurent was a top performer for Seacoast Performance Academy in 2024-25 with 86 points in 63 games. He made the move to the North Jersey Avalanche this past season, where he was a standout, too. He was one of the top forwards at the QMJHL USA Showcase last weekend, and should challenge for a spot at Select 16s.
Mason Stonacek
Mount St. Charles 15O, 12/26/2010, D, left shot, 5-10/161
Hometown: Stamford, Conn.Â
Stonacek had strong numbers with Mount's 15O team this season with 12 goals and 42 points in 59 games. He's a classic two-way defender who has fantastic vision at the offensive blue line and an ability to be physical and smart against opposing puck-carriers in his own end. He had a goal and an assist at Select 15 Camp last summer and has developed into a Division 1 prospect.
Kasen Walsh
Nobles, 4/24/2010, D, left shot, 5-11/155
Hometown: Warwick, R.I.Â
Production isn't the name of Walsh's game. With his frame, IQ and stick, he's one of the top shutdown defenders in his age group, which is why he went to Select 15 Camp last summer. He faced difficult minutes with Nobles throughout the winter.

Mason Wohlers
BK Selects 15O, 5/20/2010, D, right shot, 6-0/165
Hometown: Somers, Conn.Â
Wohlers had four assists in four games at Select 15s last summer and had 11 goals and 23 points in 61 games for BK Selects this winter. But Wohlers is a defensive stalwart who can deliver bone-crushing hits in his own zone.
