It's Best of New England week here at New England Hockey Journal, where we look at the best prospects in each birth year.
We've ranked the top 50 '07s, '08s and '09s.
For the '10s, it's going to be a little different. While we will certainly rank the top 50 in future years, we're going to do a 30-player watch list for now.
It was arguably harder to do this because limiting the group to 30 was difficult. While the '10s aren't as high-end as the '09s, it's a deep group, especially in Massachusetts.
We're going to keep the same ground rules we've had for the three other birth years. Only New England natives and non-New England prospects who played in the region this winter are eligible.
What will be interesting to track is how this changes over the next few years. Surely, players who aren't in this story will debut in the top 50 — and beat out players on this watch list. Names we don't even know now will begin to emerge as top players.
That's how it always is.
It's early with the '10s, but here's a watch list of 30 names to keep an eye on. They're in alphabetical order.

Brodie Anderson
Team: Cushing (prep)
Position: D
Height/weight: 5-9/150
Hometown: Wayland, Mass.
Anderson is a reliable, two-way defenseman who proved to be effective against older players in prep. He had 11 points in 31 games for Cushing.
Michael Barrett
Team: Phillips Andover (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 6-1/185
Hometown: Lynnfield, Mass.
With a whole bunch of skill, Barrett stood out for Andover with 10 goals and 23 points in 31 games this winter.
Thomas Boisvert
Team: Mount St. Charles 15O
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-10/152
Hometown: Trois-Rivières, Québec
Boisvert is a high-end center who posted 55 goals and 134 points in 62 games. He has all the tools of a high-end Division 1 player someday.
Wilson Boumedienne
Team: Mount St. Charles 15O
Position: F
Height/weight: 6-0/161
Hometown: Södertälje, Sweden
Boumedienne battled injuries this season, but is arguably the most skilled player in this story. Extremely high upside.

Jamie Calla
Team: Governor's Academy (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-10/150
Hometown: Lynnfield, Mass.
Calla is known for his skill and hands. He had 11 goals and 18 points in 28 games this winter.
MJ Campbell
Team: Mount St. Charles 15O
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-10/150
Hometown: Frankfort, Ill.
Campbell's stock is sky-high. Not only did he notch 101 points in 51 games this winter, but he's fresh off seven goals and 12 points in four USA Hockey nationals games.
Zaac Charbonneau
Team: Mount St. Charles 15O
Position: F
Height/weight: 6-1/185
Hometown: Quebec
Charbonneau has been dominant at Mount St. Charles the past two seasons. The USHL's Muskegon Lumberjacks tendered him in December. His uncle is Philadelphia Flyers general manager Daniel Brière.
Matthew Coccaro
Team: Mid Fairfield 15O
Position: D
Height/weight: 5-9/146
Hometown: Fairfield, Conn.
Coccaro is a shifty, puck-moving defenseman who was a hot commodity among prep schools for next season.
Logan Cotter
Team: St. Mark's (prep)
Position: D
Height/weight: 5-10/160
Hometown: Marlboro, Mass.
One of the most dynamic skaters in this story. After putting up 22 points in 30 games this winter, Cotter probably should've been invited to the U.S. National Team Development Program Evaluation Camp.
Cam Daigle
Team: St. George's (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-7/155
Hometown: East Greenwich, R.I.
Daigle is a point-producer, and that was evident this winter when he scored 13 goals and posted 33 points in 25 games.
Robert DeKleine
Team: Belmont Hill (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-11/159
Hometown: Westboro, Mass.
The hard-nosed winger was an instant hit in Belmont Hill's top six this winter with nine goals and 20 points in 31 games.

Jake Donatelli
Team: St. George's (prep)
Position: D
Height/weight: 5-9/160
Hometown: Barrington, R.I.
Donatelli's puck-moving abilities translated well to playing older players in prep, with 21 points in 26 games.
Carter Felt
Team: Rivers (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-10/170
Hometown: Natick, Mass.
Felt was a force for Rivers, leading the Red Wings with 20 goals and 34 points. His power forward style would've been a welcome presence at the NTDP Evaluation Camp had he been invited.
Sam Fishbone
Team: St. Sebastian's (prep)
Position: D
Height/weight: 5-8/155
Hometown: Needham, Mass.
His shiftiness and outstanding skating made him so effective for the Arrows. His vision is elite, too, as he posted 29 points in 27 games.
Jaxson Fleming
Team: Catholic Memorial (MIAA)
Position: G
Height/weight: 6-3/249
Hometown: Waltham, Mass.
Fleming has been CM's starter for two seasons, winning a state title as an eighth grader. He's huge and is always in position for shots. Don't sleep on him facing so much action so early in his high school career.
Owen Frick
Team: Cushing (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-10/168
Hometown: Holden, Mass.
Frick's physical, in-your-face style is the kind of player you want on your side. He had 11 points in 33 games for Cushing this winter.
Brayden Hekle
Team: Shattuck-St. Mary's 15O
Position: F
Height/weight: 6-0/161
Hometown: Wilton, Conn.
Hekle has fantastic poise with the puck and posted 14 goals and 37 points in 45 games this winter. He just won a national title with Shattuck.
Sam Lee
Team: Belmont Hill (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-11/161
Hometown: Woburn, Mass.
Lee's skill is elite and a big reason why he had 32 points in 31 games this season. He was a top forward at NTDP Evaluation Camp.
Brendan Martin
Team: St. Sebastian's (prep)
Position: D
Height/weight: 5-9/170
Hometown: Dedham, Mass.
Martin is a highly reliable, two-way defenseman who moves pucks with ease and can shut down older, bigger players. He had 13 points in 27 games this winter.
Jameson Needham
Team: St. Sebastian's (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-11/150
Hometown: Woburn, Mass.
Needham has the play-driving abilities junior and D1 college teams look for in a center. He has a heavy shot, which is a big reason why he potted 12 goals this winter (along with eight assists).

Jack Queally
Team: St. Sebastian's (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-11/181
Hometown: Norwood, Mass.
A dominant two-way center — that's what Queally is. He proved it in prep with 16 goals and 37 points to lead St. Sebastian's to the No. 4 seed in the Elite 8, and he proved it at NTDP Evaluation Camp.
Dylan Rothstein
Team: Taft (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-8/150
Hometown: New City, N.Y
Rothstein can play down the middle or on the wing in any situation. His IQ is elite, and he had 21 points in 24 games this winter.
Kai Scranton
Team: Mid Fairfield 15O
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-9/135
Hometown: West Hartford, Conn.
Scranton plays with a high level of skill and poise with the puck. He's been a longtime productive forward for Mid Fairfield.
Drew Short
Team: Winchendon (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-10/175
Hometown: Lunenburg, Mass.
On a stacked Winchendon team, Short made a big impact down the middle with 26 points in 35 games.
Will Torres
Team: Rivers (prep)
Position: G
Height/weight: 5-10/140
Hometown: Framingham, Mass.
Not only is Torres a technically sound goalie, but the stats back it up. He handled some huge shot volumes this winter, posting a 2.39 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage.
Kasen Walsh
Team: Nobles (prep)
Position: D
Height/weight: 5-11/155
Hometown: Warwick, R.I.
If you're looking for a reliable, shutdown defenseman who moves pucks effectively, this is your guy.
Colin Walsh
Team: Framingham High (MIAA)
Position: F
Height/weight: 6-1/180
Hometown: Framingham, Mass.
Walsh lit it up at Framingham this winter and was a top scorer for the Neponset Valley River Rats 15O squad in the fall. His intelligence and ability to find soft spots in high-danger areas make him such a lethal producer.
Nick Ware
Team: Belmont Hill (prep)
Position: D
Height/weight: 5-11/165
Hometown: Weymouth, Mass.
Ware proved to be a calm, effective puck-moving defenseman this winter with 23 assists. He was on Belmont Hill's top power play.
Blake Wilichoski
Team: Milton Academy (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-11/161
Hometown: Danvers, Mass.
Wilichoski is a powerful right wing who has a lot of patience and poise with the puck. Even though he dealt with a shoulder injury for most of the season, he had some good showings at NTDP Evaluation Camp. The USHL's Cedar Rapids RoughRiders tendered him for next season.

Austin Wu
Team: Dexter Southfield (prep)
Position: F
Height/weight: 5-10/175
Hometown: Dedham, Mass.
Wu always seems to find ways to produce. After putting up 17 points in 27 games for St. Sebastian's in 2024-25, he put up 14 points in 30 games on a stacked Dexter team.
