If you read the New England boys prep hockey rankings on Monday, you know that the holiday tournaments caused quite a bit of chaos.
That came from so many high-end performances.
It was a productive last week for local players. Most teams played way more games than normal, giving players ample opportunity to find the scoresheet. And to do so in a holiday tournament means a little something extra, as teams are playing for hardware and in front of more scouts than normal.

Holt
Top skater:Â Jack Goodrich, Berwick
Goodrich brought his best at the Brooks/Pingree Tournament. He notched a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win over Tilton, before tallying an assist in a 3-0 win over Hebron. He tallied another goal in a 3-0 victory over Pingree before posting his team's only two goals in a 3-2 OT loss against New Hampton in the championship.

Top goalie:Â Max Levine-Stein, Pingree
Levine-Stein had a busy week. He made 26 saves in a 1-1 tie with Austin Prep, before making 25 saves to take down Tilton, 4-1, and making 33 more to beat Elite Hockey Academy, 4-1. He sports an incredible 1.70 goals-against average and a .950 save percentage.
Honorable mentions:Â Ethan Addazio, Berwick (58 saves on 60 shots over two games); Warren DuBois, Austin Prep (45 saves on 46 shots in one game); DJ Patriss, Berwick (46 saves on 50 shots over two games)
Housatonic
Top skater:Â Luke Walkauskas, Salisbury
Walkasuakas had a massive week. Before heading to the Flood-Marr, he assisted on three of his team's goals in a 4-1 win over Canterbury. He tallied an assist in a 4-2 loss against Andover, registered another in a 1-1 tie with Deerfield and scored two goals, as well as another assist, in a 4-1 win over Nobles. He scored Salisbury's lone regulation goal in a 2-1 OT win over Milton Academy as well.

The Hotchkiss netminder arrived on the prep scene and made a statement this weekend, most notably making 41 saves to take down then-No. 1 Kimball Union. He also earned a 26-save shutout over Westminster. In the final, he wasn't as busy, but still only allowed one goal, helping his team win, 4-1. His GAA sits at 1.30, and his save percentage is a .961.

ISL Eberhart
Top skater: Will Manchuso, St. Mark's
There really should be a St. Mark's Top Performer and a non-St. Mark's Top Performer every week. At any rate, Manchuso had a huge showing at the Barber Tournament, scoring two goals and posting two assists in a 12-1 win over Kents Hill, scoring two more times (and adding an assist) in an 8-2 win over Canterbury and notching the same stat line in an 11-1 win over Middlesex. Those are video game stats.

Huang didn't play as much as some of the goalies in honorable mentions, but he was strong. He made 39 saves to beat Northwood, 4-1, in the Kevin Mutch Tournament. He also came on in relief in the championship game, making 12 saves on 14 shots.

ISL Keller
Top skater:Â Jack Queally, St. Sebastian's
With a lot of hockey decision-maker eyes on him this weekend, Queally delivered. The '10 started with two goals to beat Brooks, 4-0. Once the Kevin Mutch Tournament started, Queally notched a goal and two assists before tallying an assist to beat Winchendon 3-1 and another goal and a helper to take down Rivers, 5-3, in the final.

D'Urso was spectacular for Tabor at the Avon Old Farms Christmas Classic. The '08 made 21 saves to beat St. Paul's (2-1), 26 saves in a 3-2 loss to Avon Old Farms, a staggering 41 saves to beat Kent (3-2) and a 23-save shutout of Berkshire in the final game.
Honorable mentions: Tommy Saulnier, St. Sebastian's (94 saves on 99 shots over four games); Justin Lee, Nobles (61 saves on 67 shots over two games); Tucker Monroe, Nobles (56 saves on 60 shots over two games); Ethan Bauer, Belmont Hill (49 saves on 51 shots over two games); Aiden Emerick, Lawrence Academy (59 saves on 65 shots over two games)
Lakes
Top skater:Â Dylan Podergois, New Hampton
New Hampton won the Brooks/Pingree Christmas Tournament and got a huge showing from Podergois. He had a goal in a 4-3 win over Elite Hockey Academy, a goal and two assists in a 5-3 loss to North Yarmouth Academy and scored a goal and tallied the game-winning assist in a 3-2 overtime win against Berwick. Before the tournament started, he notched a goal in a 4-1 win over Phillips Exeter.

Top goalie:Â Sam Zygulski, New Hampton
Zygulski was dynamite for New Hampton, making 29 saves to beat Exeter, 18 to shut out Brooks and 20 to take down Berwick in the championship. The senior has been strong to start with a 2.25 GAA and a .917 save percentage.
Honorable mentions: Jake Hedman, Vermont Academy (74 saves on 80 shots over two games); Cam Ingram, Kimball Union (61 saves on 66 shots over three games); Blake Truchon, St. Paul's (54 saves on 57 shots over two games); Mark Bierwirth, Holderness (79 saves on 87 shots over three games)
Independents
Top skater:Â Joe Covelluzzi, Cushing
Covelluzzi broke out at the Groton/Lawrence Tournament. It started when he scored a goal and registered two assists to beat Lawrence Academy, 4-2. Then came two goals in a 5-4 loss to Holderness and a goal and two helpers to beat Thayer, 7-1. The Maine commit is up to five goals and 11 points in eight games.

Lord got every game for Phillips Andover at the Flood-Marr. He started with 34 saves to beat Salisbury, 4-2. On Saturday, he put up 27 saves to beat Nobles, 2-1, and 21 in a 4-2 loss against Deerfield. On Sunday, he was at his best with 38 saves in a 2-1 win over Kimball Union.
