Mark off Dec. 18-21 on your calendars because, oh boy, is there a lot of New England boys prep hockey. The holiday tournaments begin on Thursday, Dec. 18, and run all weekend.
It's become a yearly tradition to spend the weekend before Christmas in hockey rinks.
Many of these tournaments are tied to quite a bit of history. It's the 60th Flood-Marr Tournament, while it will also be the 51st time the Groton/Lawrence Holiday Tournament has been held. It's season No. 42 for the Avon Old Farms Christmas Classic.
