USA Hockey released its final 25-player roster, which includes nine New England skaters.
Of the nine, two hail from Vermont. Defender Megan Healy (South Burlington, Vt.) is an '07 Princeton commit who skates with the Bishop Kearney Selects. She won a bronze medal with the U.S. at the 2023 U18 Women's World Championship. Fellow blue-liner Taylor Senecal (Essex Junction, Vt.) is also an '07 committed to Colgate. She plays for the North American Hockey Academy.
The remaining seven are from Massachusetts.
Caroline Averill (Wayland, Mass.), Kassidy Carmichael (Westford, Mass.), Alanna Devlin (Marshfield, Mass.), Morgan McGathey (Braintree, Mass.) and Hannah Weyerhaeuser (Cambridge, Mass.) make up the forwards.
Averill, McGathey and Weyerhaeuser each play for the East Coast Wizards. Averill, an '07, plays prep school for Phillips Andover. McGathey, an '06 committed to Harvard, also plays at Thayer, while Weyerhaeuser, an '06 committed to Yale, plays at BB&N.
Devlin, an '06 committed to Boston College, and Carmichael, an '06 committed to Ohio State, play for NAHA.
Meanwhile, Molly Boyle (Scituate, Mass.) and Maggie Averill (Wayland, Mass.) will hold things down on the blue line.
Averill, an '08, and Boyle, an '06 committed to Yale, each play for the Wizards and Phillips Andover as well.
Fellow Massachusetts native Liz Keady Norton (Braintree, Mass.) is at the helm of the U.S. U18 squad. She's also the head coach at Dartmouth.

Two more Bay Staters, forward Quinn Taylor (Centerville, Mass.) and defender Madelyn Murphy (Dorchester, Mass.), participated at the final selection camp in Blaine, Minn., from Oct. 29-31.
Taylor is an '07 with NAHA, while Murphy is an '07 with Assabet Valley and Dexter Southfield. She is a BC commit.
