New England will have its fair share of representation at USA Hockey's National Development Camps this summer after many of the region's top players competed at the New England District's tryouts last month.
Again, as a reminder, the New England region is Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Massachusetts is deemed its own region by USA Hockey.
The ’09s and ’10s who advanced will head to National 16/17 Camp at Miami University (Ohio) from July 13-18. Meanwhile, the ’11s are bound for National 15 Camp at Miami (Ohio), starting with the goalie camp from July 17-19 before the full camp from July 19-24.
Each birth year was eligible to make the Under-18 Women’s National Team Festival in Lake Placid, N.Y., from August 2-9. That camp will feature approximately 46 players, and 24 players nationally made the initial roster. Players could advance into the remaining spots with strong showings at National 16/17 or National 15 Camp.

USA Hockey will also hold a National Under-19 Training Camp for ’07s and ’08s at Miami (Ohio) from July 13-16, as well as an Eastern Regional 15 Camp for the ’11s in Springfield, Mass., from Aug. 6-9.
