Six New Englanders invited to All-American Prospects Game
USA Hockey has announced the list of players scheduled to partake in the inaugural CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game, which will be held on Sept. 29 at First Niagara Center in Buffalo.
Forty players in all will participate, and six of them hail from New England:

The Malden Catholic star helped the Lancers capture their second straight Super 8 title this spring, tallying 31 goals. A native of North Reading, Mass., Fitzgerald’s father, Tom, played one season for the Boston Bruins during a lengthy NHL career and is now assistant to general manager Ray Shero for the Penguins.
The East Longmeadow, Mass., native is bound for Boston College in the fall after two years with the U.S. National Development Team. In 24 games in 2011-12, the 5-foot-10 forward had seven goals and 11 assists. Vatrano previously played for the Boston Jr. Bruins in the EJHL.
Hailing from Medford, Mass., Tringale led Lawrence Academy with 19 goals in 31 games this past season. The Harvard recruit led his squad to a prep school title in 2012 with a win over favored Noble and Greenough in the championship.
Set to attend Northeastern in the fall of 2013, Olsson left his hometown school, Billerica High, for the challenge of the prep circuit at Williston Northampton and had an impressive season. The 6-foot-5 forward was selected 73rd overall by the Lincoln Stars at the USHL draft.
A 17-year-old native of Longmeadow, Mass., Kelleher shined for the U.S. National Development Team last season. He led the squad with 17 goals and 30 points in 36 contests. The 5-foot-6 forward is currently committed to attending to UNH.
Erne decomitted from Boston University one year ago, electing to head to the QMJHL after playing for the USHL’s Indiana Ice in 2010-11. A native of North Branford, Conn., Erne had a superb first season for the Quebec Remparts, scoring 28 goals and adding 27 assists in 64 contests.
