By Jesse Connolly

After a superb senior season at Holy Cross, 2012 graduate Andrew Cox will begin his pro hockey career in Norway this fall.

The Lombardy, Ontario, native inked a deal with Stjernen Hockey of Get-ligaen, the premiere Norwegian hockey league. Stjernen is located in Fredrikstad, Norway.

In 2011-12, Cox ranked second among all Crusaders in goals (15) and points (33). The 23-year-old forward played in all 39 games for Holy Cross, which went 20-15-4 on the year and lost in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Hockey playoffs to Mercyhurst.
