New England Hockey Journal's Kirk Luedeke appeared on 98.5 The Sports Hub's "The Adam Jones Show" on Tuesday night to discuss the potential impact Carl Soderberg could have in Boston.
Luedeke reported Tuesday morning that the Bruins have agreed to terms on a three-year deal with the Swedish forward. Now 27, Soderberg has been property of the Bruins for over five years since being acquired in a 2007 trade with the Blues that saw Finnish goalie Hannu Toivonen head to St. Louis.
Soderberg just completed a sensational season for Linkkoping in the SEL with 31-29-60 totals in 54 games.
With the B's badly in need of more offense from their bottom two lines, Soderberg has the potential to give the Black and Gold a nice boost.
“The guy is a talent, no doubting or debating that… but the big question is how is his game going to translate to the smaller ice surfaces and how is he going to integrate with his Bruins teammates," Luedeke said. "You just don’t know until we see it."
