The Numbers Game: B's on pace to best last year's numbers

For the Bruins, it’s 51 games down and 31 to go in the regular season. After a fascinating run in November and December, the Black and Gold hit a lull when the calendar turned to 2012. But despite their recent struggles, Boston is still on pace to improve in a wide array of statistical areas from last year. 

Here’s a rundown on a few standout stats with a look at how the B’s wrapped up 2010-11 and what they’re currently on pace for this season:
