The Chicago Blackhawks were able to capture a 4-3 victory over the Red Wings last night in Detroit to force a Game 7 back at the United Center on Wednesday evening.

Tonight will mark the first Game 7 of this year’s second round when the San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings meet at the Staples Center. Puck drop is set for 9:00 PM eastern time.

History Lesson

Former Toronto Maple Leafs head coach and Riverside, R.I., native Ron Wilson turns 58 years old today. In 177 NHL games during his playing career, Wilson scored 26 goals and added 67 assists.
