History lesson
On this day in 1990, Randy Burridge scored two goals and Andy Moog made 25 saves in Boston’s 4-2 win over Edmonton. The visiting Oilers, of course, beat the Bruins in the Cup finals earlier that spring. Joe Murphy, a member of the B’s for about two months in 1999, scored one of Edmonton’s two goals.
