The Syracuse Crunch advanced to the Calder Cup finals last night with a victory over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the very same team that recently capped off a historic comeback from a 3-0 series deficit against the P-Bruins.

History lesson

Today is the 43rd birthday of former Boston Bruins’ winger Marty McInnis (Weymouth, Mass.). In 96 games with the Black and Gold (2001-03), McInnis scored 11 goals and added 13 assists for a total of 24 points.
