MILTON -- A men's hockey game between Curry College and visiting Wentworth Institute of Technology, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed. A make-up date has yet to be determined.
According to a report in the Boston Globe, more than 20 members of the Curry team were hospitalized for exposure to nitrous dioxide, following a game against Johnson and Wales in Rhode Island on Thursday. The source of the nitrous dioxide was a Zamboni at the Rhode Island Sports Center. The players were expected to be released from the hospital today.
The Colonels own a 14-7-3 record and are in first place in the ECAC Northeast with a 10-1-2 record.
