On defense, Team USA boasts veterans Caitlin Cahow (Branford, Conn.) and Kacey Bellamy (Westfield, Mass.,), as well as goalie Molly Schaus (Natick, Mass./Boston College).
In addition, making the team were Boston College product Kelli Stack, Harvard defenseman Josephine Pucci and alum Angela Ruggiero, and forward Kendall Coyne, a prep standout at Berkshire School.
Team USA recently split two exhibition games with Canada as it gears up for the Worlds. It’s first game is April 17 against Slovakia.
